We are looking for an autonomous and flexible Commissioning Engineer, the person that brings life into our installations. As Commissioning Engineer, you are responsible for the startup of the plant.
YOUR FUNCTION
Your responsibilities on-site include :
- You coordinate commissioning activities on site, including progress meetings with all stakeholders.
- You act as contact person between our client on site and the project team in Harelbeke.
- You are responsible for testing of I/O, electrical connection and the upload of energy plant control software (PLC, visualization).
- You will start and test the first fire (the highlight moment of a VYNCKE project).
- You finetune the installation in order to meet the required performances (stability, power output, emission).
- You monitor boiler performance and provide feedback to the project team about executed works & activities.
- You provide training for the operators and the maintenance team of the customer in order to ensure a smooth handover.
- You are responsible for bringing our installations to life and assisting in the smooth handover to our customers.
- You report to the Project Field Team Manager.
YOUR PROFILE
- You recently graduated as a master in electronics or electromechanics, option automation or electrical engineering or equivalent through experience.
- You have a passion for automation and you want to bring your (theoretical) knowledge into practice.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and you like to work independently or in a small team.
- You are willing to travel for longer periods, varying from several days to 3-4 weeks at once, mainly in Western Europe.
- You have good communication skills in English and ideally Dutch.
