The ICT Service Engineer keeps ICT infrastructure up to date and helps our users where needed. He/she ensures that the VYNCKENEERS can concentrate on their tasks with a minimum of ICT-worries and supported by the right tools. ICT Service Engineer monitors servers, network and other infrastructure.
YOUR FUNCTION
- Maintaining and upgrading existing ICT infrastructure: servers, network, firewalls, security and end-user devices (desktops, laptops, communication devices, printing devices, all related user software)
- Supporting and training the users on the use of above user infra-structure and the related software.
- Pro-actively & continuously search for, and find, improvements for the users or ICT-team.
- Detect returning problems & questions and find ways how to prevent repetition.
- Communicate and cooperate with external partners.
YOUR PROFILE
- You need sound knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Office software, Azure, Office 365 and Intune.
- You can actively communicate with demanding users to define their needs.
- Your approach is hands on, creative and service oriented. You are a quick learner. A good problem solver who can tackle problems with common sense.
- You can communicate in English.
