As Project Field Engineer – Commissioning you are responsible for bringing our installations to life and assisting in the smooth handover to our customers. You report to the Project Team Manager.
YOUR FUNCTION
Commissioning of the installation:
- You check electrical equipment/instrumentation.
- You perform I/O checks and Safety loop testing.
- You will start and test the first fire (the highlight moment of VYNCKE project).
- You do hot testing of the installation.
Combustion engineering:
- You perform combustion settings (air/fuel balance, boiler dynamics, emission reduction techniques, fouling behaviour).
- You set the installation to combust various fuels.
- You realize performance test at the end of project.
Commissioning management:
- You keep detailed log file of the executed works and activities on the site.
- You attend the site meetings and you cooperate closely with the Project Team.
- You train the customer’s Boiler Operators.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have a bachelor degree in electronics or electromechanics, option automation or electrical engineering or equivalent through experience.
- You have a passion for automation in its broadest sense; you want to be up to date on the latest trends.
- You combine your hands-on approach and strong problem solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- You are willing to be abroad for longer periods, varying from 1-3 weeks at once, mainly in C&E Europe.
- You can communicate in English.
