Project Sales Engineer

The Project Sales Engineer is supporting the Project Sales Manager in defining & selling the best possible solution to our potential customers. You are the bridge between the Project Sales Manager and the operations team. You are the technical-administrative partner of the Project Sales Manager during the sales process.

  • Together with the Sales Manager, you analyze the customer’s need and study the different technical concepts to meet to the customer’s enquiry.
  • You translate these demands to a full technical and commercial offer by consulting and collaborating with operations and external suppliers.
  • You are responsible for creating the first layout and basic design of the future project.
  • When needed, you will support the engineering team with the mechanical design in our 3D software Inventor.
  • You support the Sales Manager in presenting the proposal to the customer.
  • Once the customer accepts the offer, you and the Sales Manager will ensure a smooth handover to the operations team and will support when needed.
  • You work closely together with the Sales Manager, customer, internal team and external subcontractors.
  • In this role, you report to the Unit Manager.
  • You have a Master’s degree in Engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • You have a keen interest in sales or engineering projects and combine this with good abstract and conceptual insight. You are willing to accomplish administrative duties related to the offering.
  • You have knowledge of 3D software, preferably Inventor and you are experienced with Office (Excel & Word).
  • You have an eye for detail and your pro-active personality, common sense, and creativity help you to become a reliable partner for sales and operations.
  • You have a critical mindset and your communication style is convincing, yet to the point.
  • You can express yourself fluently in Spanish and English.
