As Project Sales Engineer you work side by side with the Sales Manager to provide a technically effective and economically attractive solution to our future customer. You are the hinge between the customer’s demand and the technical/ economical best fitting solution.

Your key tasks are:

  • Together with the sales manager you analyze the customer’s needs in-dept and study the different technical concepts to meet the customer’s requirements and out beat the competition.
  • You prepare and budget a full detailed technical offer by consulting the internal teams (project management, design, cost engineering) and external suppliers.
  • You make a professional presentation of the proposal and present this together with the sales manager to the customer.
  • You work very closely with the sales manager, internal specialists, and external subcontractors. You join for crucial meetings to defend our solution in front of the customer.
  • You obtained a degree in (bio-)engineering and you have at least 3-5 years of experience, preferably in technical sales or project management.
  • You combine keen interest in complex engineering projects with commercial flair, integrity, and natural communication skills. You enjoy working in a team with different disciplines and are confident enough to challenge from time to time our internal disciplines to go the extra mile to meet the challenging customer demands.
  • You have a good abstract and conceptual insight.
  • You are passionate to become a techno-commercial specialist in our complex energy solutions, yet patient enough to journey through an in-depth learning process.
  • Not only do you demonstrate pro-activity and the ability to put things into perspective, but you also know how to work in an accurate and precise manner. You are driven to get to the bottom of your files and to deliver a high-quality proposal. You can easily switch your focus between several projects & markets and enjoy the very dynamic environment in our market.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English and have good written and oral skills in French and/or German.
