BIOMASS HEATING SYSTEMS FOR GREENHOUSES

Given the upward trend in both price and worldwide demand for a finite supply of fossil fuel, coupled with concerns about global climate change, many greenhouse farmers are switching to renewable energy. VYNCKE offers heating systems adapted to a wide range of biomass fuels. The possibility of equipping our boilers with CO2 capture systems, which allow carbon dioxide to be utilized for greenhouse grown vegetable crops, is a well appreciated extra feature.

THE FUTURE-PROOF VYNCKE SOLUTION

For greenhouses of a bell pepper grower, VYNCKE installed a set of twin CNS heaters, each with a thermal output of 15 MW.

COGENERATION SOLUTION FOR GREENHOUSES

Introducing a German megaproducer of bedding and potted plants, with greenhouses spread in Germany and The Netherlands. At their main location in Emsbüren, VYNCKE supplied a turnkey CHP plant starting from the overhead crane, a wood waste-fired JNO boiler including the flue gas train and a steam turbine.
This cutting-edge facility replaces a natural gas boiler with a biomass solution that generates electrical power for the public grid and heat for the greenhouses. Additionally, this boiler is ready to be equipped with a CO2 capturing unit in the future.
This greenhouse grower aims to be a model for eco-friendly and future-proof practices that promotes green energy and we take pride in being a part of their efforts. Find out how we did it!
