As Lead Accountant you are responsible for the overall day-to-day accounting operations. In cooperation with the accountants, you execute the global finance plan, and ensure practices are compliant with the CZ regulations. You are a partner for the local business managers in their finance responsibilities. As Lead Accountant you report to the Accounting Manager.
YOUR FUNCTION
- You prepare and execute, together with the local accountants all activities in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger.
- You actively search for the continuous improvement of process optimization/automatization and internal control level to improve finance service quality and efficiency.
- You implement and execute global accounting procedures and processes into the CZ scope.
- You are responsible for periodic monthly closings in the region and timely reporting to Accounting Manager. This entails actuals vs actuals, actuals vs budget and input for forecasting results.
- You review monthly financial packages, and ensures timely, correct, and complete reporting.
- You guide, develop and manage the finance team in the region.
- You are the key ERP user, continue to pursue uniformity of financial processes and procedures in the region.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have min. bachelor degree in finance or accounting.
- At least 5 years of experience in the international manufacturing environment in a similar role.
- Experience with automatization in finance.
- Very good knowledge of CZ accounting rules and legislation.
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI, ERP System…)
- Experience in people management role.
- You are fluent in English.
